Of the 771 cases handled by the CAN in June 2022 (+5.76% compared to the previous month https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-36941-icihaiti-health-report-of-the-national-ambulance-center-may-2022.html ), 38% were transfers, 19% obstetrical emergencies and 13% road accidents. Types of interventions: 49 cases of respiratory distress (not associated with Covid-19); 41 cases of chronic diseases (various pathologies); 149 obstetric emergencies; 290 transfers (references and laboratory tests); 97 various conditions (malaise, diarrhoea, fever, anemia, abdominal pain, etc.) In addition, the CAN intervened in 101 road accidents, 10 bullet wounds, 10 stab wounds, 16 traumas (injuries and fractures of various degrees), 8 cases of burns. Of the 771 cases handled by the CAN : 358 interventions took place in the West, 174 in the Artibonite, 34 in the South, 49 in the North-West, 58 in the South-East, 73 in the North /North-East, 13 in Grand'Anse, 12 in Nippes and 0 in the Center.
