Of the 729 cases handled by the CAN in March 2022 (-6.89% compared to the previous month https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-36637-icihaiti-health-report-of-the-national-ambulance-center-april-2022.html ), 44% were transfers, 20% obstetrical emergencies and 11% other cases (malaise, diarrhea, fever, anemia, abdominal pain, etc.) Types of interventions : 57 cases of respiratory distress (not associated with Covid-19); 28 cases of chronic diseases (various pathologies); 143 obstetric emergencies; 319 transfers (references and laboratory tests); 83 various conditions (malaise, diarrhoea, fever, anemia, abdominal pain, etc...) In addition, the CAN intervened in 51 road accidents, 2 gunshot wounds, 7 stab wounds, 35 traumas (injuries and fractures of various degrees), 4 cases of burns. Of the 729 cases handled by the CAN: 406 interventions took place in the West, 139 in the Artibonite, 22 in the South, 11 in the North-West, 70 in the South-East, 58 in the North /North-East, 3 in Grand'Anse, 20 in Nippes and 0 in the Center.
