Statistical report of the pre-hospital care of the various emergency cases carried out by the National Ambulance Center (CAN) during the month of July 2022.

Of the 810 cases handled by the CAN in July 2022 (+5.05% compared to the previous month https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-37221-icihaiti-health-report-of-the-national-ambulance-center-june-2022.html ), 37% were transfers, 21% obstetrical emergencies and 9% cases of respiratory distress.

Types of interventions :

71 cases of respiratory distress (not associated with Covid-19);

20 cases of chronic diseases (various pathologies);

169 obstetric emergencies;

299 transfers (references and laboratory tests);

118 various conditions (malaise, diarrhea, fever, anemia, abdominal pain, etc...)

In addition, the CAN intervened in 51 road accidents, 8 gunshot wounds, 15 stab wounds, 56 traumas (injuries and fractures of various degrees), 3 cases of burns.

Of the 810 cases handled by the CAN: 515 interventions took place in the West, 110 in the Artibonite, 28 in the South, 29 in the North-West, 48 in the South-East, 61 in the North /North-East, 4 in Grand'Anse, 15 in Nippes and 0 in the Center.
