Statistical report of the pre-hospital care of the various emergency cases carried out by the National Ambulance Center (CAN) during the month of September 2022.

Of the 319 cases handled by the CAN in September 2022 (-56.26% compared to the previous month https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-37610-icihaiti-health-report-of-the-national-ambulance-center-august-2022.html ), 40% were transfers, 28% obstetrical emergencies...

Types of interventions :

5 cases of respiratory distress (not associated with Covid-19);

49 cases of chronic diseases (various pathologies);

90 obstetric emergencies;

127 transfers (references and laboratory tests);

10 various conditions (malaise, diarrhea, fever, anemia, abdominal pain, etc...)

In addition, the CAN intervened in 18 road accidents, 5 gunshot wounds, 3 stab wounds, 11 traumas (injuries and fractures of various degrees), 1 case of burns.
