Of the 567 cases handled by the CAN in August 2022 (-30.00% compared to the previous month https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-37350-icihaiti-health-report-of-the-national-ambulance-center-july-2022.html ), 39% were transfers, 22% obstetrical emergencies and 9% accidents in the public way. Types of interventions : 23 cases of respiratory distress (not associated with Covid-19); 22 cases of chronic diseases (various pathologies); 124 obstetric emergencies; 222 transfers (references and laboratory tests); 85 various conditions (malaise, diarrhoea, fever, anemia, abdominal pain, etc..) In addition, the CAN intervened in 53 road accidents, 11 bullet wounds, 5 stab wounds, 21 traumas (injuries and fractures of various degrees), 1 case of burns. Of the 567 cases handled by the CAN: 288 interventions took place in the West, 101 in the Artibonite, 28 in the 37 in the North-West, 25 in the South-East, 68 in the North/North-East, 0 in Grand'Anse, 20 in Nippes and 0 in Center.
