Of the 609 cases handled by the CAN in October 2022 (+90.9% compared to the previous month https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-37858-icihaiti-health-report-of-the-national-ambulance-center-september-2022.html ), 19% were obstetrical emergencies, 18% suspected cholera cases, 15% head trauma. Types of interventions : 32 confirmed cholera cases 112 suspected cholera cases 41 cases of respiratory distress (not associated with Covid-19) 26 cases of chronic diseases (various pathologies) 117 obstetric emergencies 4 AVP (Accidents on Public Roads) 84 transfers (references & laboratory tests) 93 traumas (injuries & fractures of varying degrees) 9 bullet wounds 4 stab wounds 87 various conditions (malaise, diarrhoea, fever, anemia, abdominal pain, etc...) Of the 609 cases handled by the CAN: 533 interventions took place in the West, 39 in the Artibonite, 13 in the North / North-East, 10 in the South-East, 6 in the North-West, 6 without the South.
