36.000 IDPs live in Parc Jean Marie Vincent
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) organized the 4th and 5th September a census operation in five IDP camps of Parc Jean Marie Vincent, in Port-au-Prince. In the midst of a major security cordon, 235 peacekeepers of razilian contingent, 53 UNPol and 20 20 members of Formed Police Units (FPU) of the Minustahin support to 20 members of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), the IOM teams have identified 36.000 persons living to Jean Marie Vincent, the largest camp for displaced people in the country for today.

Football - The Grenadiers crush Saint-Martin (7-0)
As part of the first qualifying round of the Gold Cup (Caribbean Cup) at Sylvio Cator stadium, Friday, the Grenadiers have literally crushed the team of Saint-Martin (7-0). In the first half, the attacker Haitian Peguerro Jean Philippe scored 3 goals (3-0) followed by a doubled of Monumat Constant Jr. The score at halftime 5-0 in favor of the Grenadiers. Australian visit in Haiti
Richard Marles, Parliamentary Secretary for Foreign Affairs met with Foreign Minister Pierre-Richard Casimir Thursday, within the framework of strengthening of friendship and cooperation ties between the two countries. Mr. Marles stressed the strengthening of Australia's relations with Haiti. The Australian Aid Program to the Caribbean is also helping increase Haiti's human resource capability by providing scholarships, fellowships and diplomatic training.
