iciHaiti - Health : Youth Government raises its voice

The Youth Government of Haiti (GHJ) strongly condemns the attitude of the resident doctors on strike since March 28 in most public hospitals of the country.

In addition, the GJH emphasizes that theseresident physicians are demanding a salary of 80,000 gourdes, forgetting that they are mostly of scholars of the State and that the 7,500 gourdes they receive are to cover the expenses of residents for which the Haitian government has invested hundreds of millions of gourdes.
"Ladies and gentlemen the scholars, have you any idea of the amount that cost your studies ? When you will back the money of your studies to the State ? Haiti is apparently the only country where the State does not require account to the scholars," GJH concluded in its note...
