A note from the CSPN indicates "The National Police (PNH) has received instructions to reinforce its personnel already on the ground, in order to neutralize these armed bandits, perpetrators of murders and other serious abuses, who force the inhabitants of Carrefour-Feuilles to leave their homes... The National Police of Haiti is putting all its forces into the battle for a return to order in Carrefour-Feuille. The exchanges of fire with the bandits are certainly very disturbing for the population who is forced to move, the PNH is working for a quick solution to the situation so that the citizens can return to their neighborhoods. The CSPN invites the population to continue to support the National Police, to provide it with any information that could help it better counter the bandits."
