iciHaiti - Program HA-J0005 : Technical training for 122 beneficiaries

The Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) recently launched a series of technical training sessions designed to equip participants in the HA-J0005 Program for Strengthening Safety Nets for Vulnerable Populations with the skills necessary for active participation in community projects.

These sessions, organized by CARE, a recognized leader in community initiatives, aim to strengthen the mobilization of beneficiaries within their respective communities. "Equipping our beneficiaries with skills is essential for the recovery of our communities," stated a CARE representative, emphasizing the importance of community engagement within the program.

It is worth noting that the HA-J0005 Program, supported by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), is part of a series of actions implemented by the Haitian government to combat food insecurity and improve the living conditions of people in the most remote areas of the country.

The distribution of training participants reveals significant involvement from both men and women across the different training sections:

- Bassin 2nd section : 19 participants (9 men, 10 women)

- Bas Madame, 1st section : 20 participants (14 men, 6 women)

- Paparel, 1st section : 19 participants (11 men, 8 women)

- Coudrey, city center : 22 participants (12 men, 10 women)

- Cité Julio, city center : 21 participants (14 men, 7 women)

- Calvaire : 21 participants (14 men, 7 women)

These training programs are a step forward towards sustainable and inclusive development for the Haitian people, offering everyone the opportunity to contribute to improving their living conditions and strengthening their economic independence.

With this program, FAES and the IDB reaffirm their commitment to vulnerable populations, equipping them with the necessary tools to transform their daily lives and Building a better future.
